Happy Earth Day!

Walker has finally returned from his blogging hiatus, he hopes he will have plenty of upcoming activities to blog about. Walker wants to wish everyone a happy earth day, Walkie loves his earth and wishes more people would too. Walker is proud to recycle his treat boxes and produces little waste....just look out for the corner of the backyard. Walker is also proud to drink water from the tap not that wasteful bottled water :) Walker does not require his home to be freezing to take his naps.

Walker also likes to chew on sticks instead of requiring fancy rawhides.

Walker will clean up any leftovers not letting any morsel go to waste.

Finally Walker enjoys communing with nature with his mom, at times his mom considers moving to the country with Walker and planting a garden and buying some ducks.... but that is a whole different story.

Walker will leave you with this nugget....

"As long as I live, I'll hear waterfalls and birds and winds sing. I'll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm, and the avalanche. I'll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as I can." — from The Journals of John Muir

Just call me Walker...inadequate blogger

Walker just wanted to apologize for his lack of blogging. Not much has been happening and his mother has been too busy to help him blog. Shame on Walkie's mom. Walker will have to do a better update soon with a pic of his new collar.

Ho Ho Ho

Walker is excited for Christmas! He hopes you have bought him lots of presents. He likes bones, and treats and marshmallows and bandanas if you need any gift ideas. Walker has had a Christmas tree up for a few days now, but his parents cannot seem to get it decorated. This tree started out quite massive touching the ceiling, but is now a normal size thanks to his Daddy's handiwork! In case he does not find the time to blog again before Christmas, Walker wanted to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas!

Anxiety

Walker has been experiencing a bit of anxiety as of late...

His parents left him for a week in the big city.
He was very bitter. His mother was far away admiring all the city dogs and their fashions and his Daddy was working hard. :)

He had strangers tearing out his beloved blue(or in some places brown) carpet and replacing it with strange hard floor that taps against his toes. He might have to invest in some booties for his feet.

And he has noticed after several years of peace there are lots of rough characters about town donning crimson and houndstooth.

It makes poor Walkie's stomach a bit queasy. He prefers not to see such unrefined humans... thank goodness he has parents who have a bit of sense :) That last pic has Walker in the fetal position. I think we need a pleasant picture to help cleanse our palate and hopefully block out any nightmares before we sign off.... Here is Walker trying to ward off the bad energy of the above pics.

BOO!

Walker had a great and busy Halloween! Lots of people to snoot and trick-or-treaters to scare. One trick-or-treater compared Walker to a donkey...he said he was going to ride him like a donkey. Walker was quite insulted by this comparison. Everyone knows Walker is superior to a donkey! Walker's favorite part was the orange creamscicle drinks...delicious! We hope that everyone enjoyed the festivities. Walker hopes all his friends will come back and visit soon.

What a Beast!

Well Walkie had his checkup and he is now weighing in at whopping 106 pounds! He is a beautiful beast! Thankfully Walker is in good health, no doubt from all the care he gets from his doting mother.
Walker has also been enjoying a life of leisure spending days with Grammie and Poppa and nights with Mom. Walker would like to wish Grammie and Poppa a Happy Anniversary tomorrow. He wishes he could be with yall at the Lagoon.
Walker will chat more later, but right now he has to go catch The Office...

Howdy

Hello all....
Walker has missed all his devoted followers. The month of July was a bit traumatic for young Walker. Walker's parents abandoned him with his Grammy & Poppa for over a week. Apparently his parents were more interested in seeing this

than this

Walker did enjoy his time with the grandparents barking at turtles and eating plenty of snacks.

then came the great GI distress of 2008 where many fell ill.... Walker had to take care of his Daddy for many days and was unable to blog...

Just recently Walker was traumatized by his old parents getting even older. He is very upset as it seems the twenties are rapidly giving way... Where has the time gone...
