He is quite an odd fellow. Walkie enjoyed hanging out with cousins Casey and Lucky. He and Casey had a terrifying romp around the yard, which sent everyone running and Uncle Chris flying. They also enjoyed looking at crabs and trying to eat crab bait, making smores and sitting around the fire, and a bit of swimming which for Walker is more like walking in the water.

The highlight of weekend were crabcakes with a shrimp sauce masterfully prepared by John and sous chef Andrea. Too bad Derek was unable to make it for crabcakes, but he was very busy watching outtakes of Indiana Jones....
All in all a good way to start the summer. Hopefully Walker will have many more good summer weekends and maybe one day get out in that boat :)

It sure was fun hanging out with you all weekend. Thanks to Uncle Jon for introducing me to beer and smores. Too bad you couldn't catch me on our around-the-lot run. The face plant by Uncle Chris was priceless. Thanks for putting my picture on your blog. I'm still trying to discover how to infiltrate the orange pod that encases my brother, the lab mouse...I will let you know in due time how delicious he was.
